I have worked as a worship leader or been involved in the worship ministry for several years now. I am always amazed at people’s differing responses to various types and styles of worship and worship music. There are so many different philosophies about worship and what it should or should not be about.
I really do not believe that God get as hung up on the style of music we use or the types of instruments we use as we do. He’s just looking for those whose motive are pure in approaching Him in worship.
In light of those thoughts, go to the comments section and finish this statement:
“I worship God because…”
I look forward to hearing from you…
Ready… Go!
I worship God because it brings His presence. I feel at peace. I know He is present every time I worship Him.
Joey, you are a the best worship leader I have ever heard… God has truly anointed you with a Spirit of Worship. Thank you for your obedience.
Ryan
Thanks Ryan! Love you man!!!
I worship God because all that I have and all that I am was given to me by Him. I worship God because he has blessed me beyond measure, even though I am a petulant, willful, and undeserving child. I worship God because He alone created us and this wondrous universe in which we get to experience all the beauty of that creation. I worship God because only He is good, and His way is the only way that is sure. I worship God because only He could have taken the mess I made of my life and turned it into something beautiful that could begin to move towards fulfilling His purpose. I worship God because He sent Christ to make the unimaginable sacrifice for me. I worship God because The Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the Great Physician, loved ME while I was still a sinner, and desires a real relationship with me, and I am astounded and amazed by that anew every single day.
Wow, Heather. Thank you for the comment. God is AWESOME!!!!
